Why is there a frog on my home page?
1. The green tree frog is an amazing creature ... and cute.
2. It is headed for the endangered list because of its dwindling habitat and a fungus.
3. It represents our responsibility for our precious and carefully-balanced world.
AND PERHAPS MOST IMPORTANTLY:
4. It eats mosquitoes.*
*Not that mosquitoes aren't important, after all they are frog-food....
